Open Source Summer is a series of summer activities under the guidance of the “Open Source Software Supply Chain Lighting Program” of the Institute of Software of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, aiming to encourage students to actively participate in the development and maintenance of open source software, cultivate and discover more excellent developers, promote the vigorous development of excellent open source software community, and help open source software supply chain construction. Open Source Summer is now in its fourth year. Open Source Summer goes hand in hand with many thriving open source communities, constantly promoting the popularization and promotion of open source technology among college students, making more and more students participate in open source projects, and more excellent open source contributors and open source projects emerge, providing strong support for promoting the development of open source ecology.
